Black Sunny Day/Bass is Back, CD
Digipack. Eine lokale junge Band aus der Ostschweiz. Anfangs wollte man in guter Hardrock Manier à la Black Sabbath musizieren. Aber man hat Neues komponiert, altes verworfen und irgendwann kam auch eine Hammond dazu. Am Ende ist eine freche, rasante und bunte Mischung irgendwo zwischen Green Day, Black Sabbath, Genesis mit Einflüssen von Bluesrock draus geworden - jeder Song mit Gitarrensolos und Hammond-Einlagen in Progressiv-Manier aufgelockert. Ein sehr kurzweiliges, rasantes Album. Privatpressung. *A young new local band. They started to play with Black Sabbath covers and continued with own songmaterial. Then was a hammond added. At least they created a very entertaining album to file somewhere in areas between Green Day, Black Sabbath and Genesis and also influenced by bluesrock. Each song is spiced up with guitar- or hammond solos in progressive tradition. Private pressing of the band, digipack.

Schweiz, 1975 & 6 Bonus-Tracks in Super Jewel Box. Progressive/Psychedelic. Aufgenommen wurde 1975 mit zwei schlichten Revox 2-Spur-Maschinen ohne technische Tricks. Die Musik ist originell und reicht von Deutschrock über englischen Beateinfluss zu Psychedelic und leicht esoterischem Feeling. Die unveröffentlichten Bonus-Tracks entstanden im Proberaum in wechselnden Exit-Besetzungen bis 1979. *Switzerland, 1975 & 6 bonus tracks in super jewel box. The LP was recorded in 1975 with the plain recording method using two Revox 2-track-machines. This demanded of the musicians high skills, as no special effects could be used. The music is very original: progressive flavoured with psychedelic, an esoteric edge and English beat vibes. The unpublished bonus tracks where recorded live 1976 - 1979. Fantasy was formed in 1967 in Miami and was comprised of 5 teenagers, Billy Robbins (Lead Vocals), Bob Robbins (Bass), Jim DeMeo (Guitar), Mario Russo (Keyboards), and Greg Kimple (Drums). Fantasy started out playing at teen dances and graduated to performing at The Experience, a Miami underground hippie hangout. From 1967 through 1970 the band, led by its charismatic young singer Billy Robbins, was developing a following. In 1968 The Experience closed its doors and morphed into Thee Image, a large converted bowling alley which featured the biggest artists of the day. Fantasy was chosen as the house band and every weekend they found themselves on the bill with the likes of Cream, Grateful Dead, The Doors, Steppenwolf, Iron Butterfly, Frank Zappa and Led Zeppelin to name a few.
